Satellite TVRO antenna on drilling jackup rig

Supply of:

Wavefield KM-X8 (90 cm) TVRO antenna for being able to watch satellite TV, via the Astra 28.2 and Allente 0.8W satellite, on board a drilling jackup rig located in the North Sea near Norway. The export/transport to Norway of the TVRO antenna(s) was also taken care of by DeSchotelShop.

EMP-Centauri MS13/26PIU-6 DiSEqC multiswitch, for distributing the satellite TV signal on board the jackup rig to up to 26 TV connections. The supplied Wavefield KM-X8 TVRO antennas are all connected to one and the same multiswitch, allowing everyone on board the jackup rig to watch both the channels from the Astra 28.2 satellite and the Allente 0.8W satellite at the same time (i.e. no additional pointing of one of the antennas is required).
