Oyster® V 85 - Vision series

The new series of Oyster® Vision V is available with a 85 cm antenna and can be mounted on the roof of your motorhome or mobile home. With a height of 17cm when closed, this antenna has one of the lowest heights in its series. Through a smart, new construction, the bowed feed-arm is space saving, the maximum height when closed is 'only' 17cm. This also applies to the Twin and Skew version of the Oyster Vision V.

The Oyster® Vision V is unique because it only has one cable for connecting this automatic antenna. Via this one cable both the satellite signal as the power supply is transferred.

Another very usefull option of the Oyster Vision V is the connection with your own smartphone. With the special App of Oyster it's not only possible to control the antenna, but you can receive possible software or other updates as well. Pure ease of use for you as user!

The Oyster Vision V is -for now- only avaailable with a 85 cm antenna. This assures signal reception of (almost) all the important satellites all over Europe. And in combination with the automatic Skew function you also have the best signal quality wherever you are.

The Oyster Vision V can be combined with each satellite receiver or TV with integrated satellite DVB-S2 tuner.

Easy control, to select

The „brain" of the Oyster® is the control unit, the FeatureBox. This calculates and has a controlling function. With the Vision-version you communicate with the FeatureBox through the control unit. Thanks to the mobile app you can also connect the FeatureBox to your smartphone. You have the most important control functions available and you have the ability to switch the antenna on or off, to switch satellite or display the system settings.

The FeatureBox offers more ans has become smaller.

No searching but finding

The Oyster® always knows where the satellites are. Turn-around scans are no longer necessary. The system positions itself towards the satellite. The reason for this technologic jump ahead is the teamwork of three components: gps, 3D-compass and tilt sensor.

The gps-system detemines the location, the 3D-compass determines in which direction your vehicle (and thus the antenna) points, the tilt sensor identifies a possible tilt of the vehicle and controls the exact compensation movement of the antenna. Mostly the tilt of the vehicle is underestimated. A few degrees can cause a significant signal loss. Much more then for instance the difference in height between the position of the vehicle on top of a mountain or in the valley.

Can handle changes well

It's pretty annoying when the technic settings of the satellite signals change, and you are somewehere in Europe and nothing works anymore. Often only an update will help. This is programmed very fast by the tehcnicians of Oyster, but then these need to be uploaded into your satellite antenna system.

Your Oyster® receives online updates through ypur smartphone (or USB-stick). It's no fun tool but very functional.

The update is send directly to your phone and from there transferred into your satellite antenna system. You can download the free app for your Oyster®, which offers next to the updat function lots of other handy options. Oyster informs you immediately when a change of satellite characteristics is noticed. You know then what causes the problem and will receive as soon as possible the updat to solve this problem.

Your smartphone is connected through the app with your Oyster® -control unit. If a technical defect occurs, it can be diagnosted by the Oyster® app. This data can be send to the customer service department.

One cable is one cable

When we mention a „1-cable-solution", is that what we mean. An extra power cable is no longer necessary. A special coax cable is used for the control, the power supply and the signal transfer from the unit outside.

Mounting is a matter of a minimum effort“. One small hole is sufficient.

With the Twin versin a second coax cable is off course needed.
