With a solar panel on top of your mobile home, motorhome or ship you no longer depend on other external power sources. Everywhere where you are, you have your own solar energy available for watching for instance satellite tv. But also other deives can be powered by the solar panel. WIthout being connected to for instance a 220V connection of the camping, motorhome spot or harbour where you might be at that moment.

PERC-technology

The NDS Blacksolar solar panels are renewed and are now based on PERC solar cells (Passivated Emitter Rear Cell). This type of solar cell has a passive made cell rear end. This ensures that less solar energy is transformed into heat and is lost because of that. The efficiency of a solar cell also decreases when this becomes warmer (up to 0.4% less per degree warmer).

Another advantage of PERC solar cells is that these are more efficient when it's cloudy. Clouds operate like a filter to light with shorter golf lengths. PERC solar cells get more energy out of colours with longer golf lengths. These reach the earth more compared to the other golfs.

Solar panels, standard with built-in mounting brackets

The NDS BLACKSOLAR panels are a step ahead in solar-energy. The solar panels are all black and thus capture more solar energy. Even during less (sun)light, like during sunrise or sunset, the NDS BLACKsolar panels capture more electricity then other solar panels.

The BLACKSOLAR panel series of NDS are made of high-efficient monocrystalline cells, together with other raw materials suitable for this specific design, which makes the performance optimal and a efficiency of 18.5% can be reached.

The BLACKSOLAR series solar panels are -optional- available with a maximum power of 115W, 165W, 185W or 230W.

Easy to install:

The NDS BLACKSOLAR panels have a 6 meter long -bipolar- cable and built-in mounting brackets; this makes the installation of the solar panels on the roof of your mobile home or motorhome (or on deck of your yacht) very easy. The dark solar panels even give your roof a more nice appearance.

Please notice: Optional it's possible to extend the NDS BLACKSOLAR panels with an 'installationkit', existing of a cable entry and a MPPT suncontrol2 (transformer), i.e. the SCE 320M or SCE 360M version (both support N-BUS technology).

SUNCONTROL2

SUNCONTROL2 is the latest charge controller of NDS with seperate inputs for 2 different solar panels. The MPPT technology enables the energy of any type of solar panel (12 V nominal) to be maximised and perform state-of-the-art charging curves, even for LiFePO4 batteries.

The Opticharge algorithm, developed by NDS, optimizes the charging based on the need of the battery which extends the service life of the battery.

SUNCONTROL2 is equipped with the new N-BUS communication protocol, compatible with Ci-Bus: you can control all on board devices and manage these all from one single NDS Controller.

N-BUS

N-BUS is the multi device communication protocol fully developed by NDS and compatible with CI-BUS.

With N-BUS, your energy devices are connected and exchange information for more efficient onboard energy management. The network of devices has many advantages, such as easy firmware updates and simplified operation with one simple interface.

MPPT

MPPT is the algorithm that always enables the “Maximum Power Point” that is supplied by the solar panel. A charge controller with MPPT technology is capable of achieving a significantly higher efficiency than PWM technology (up to 25% more).
