NDS 3L-100 3Lion Lithium battery

The NDS 3L-100 3Lion Lithium battery is available in the following versions:

• 3L-100 - stand-alone battery as extension on the 3L-100 with 3LINK*
• 3L-100B - stand-alone battery as extension on the 3L-100B with 3LINK*
• 3L-100 with 3LINK
• 3L-100P - stand-alone battery as extension on the 3L-100P with 3LINK*
• 3L-100B with 3LINK
• 3L-100P with 3LINK

* It's possible to connect parallel up to 4 Li-ion batteries to the 3LINK versions of this NDS battery.

The 3Lion Lithium ION battery system from NDS is based on the reliable LiFePO4 technology. This means that the best performance is combined with a reliable and safe energy input. Lithium batteries have a long(er) lifetime compared to other batteries and are for that reason many times less expensive solutions for elctronic vehicles, motorhomes, mobile homes, boats, ships and yachts.

Built-in Battery Management System

The 3Lion battery is controlled by the 3Link BMS (Battery Management System). All plus poles of the battery are connected directly to the BMS; this creates a stabile and more efficient electronic system. As soon as for instance the engine of the motorhome is turned off, the 3Lion battery system takes over the control of the energy input to the connected devices, like lighting, heating, coffee machine, satellite tv antenna, tv and more.

Via thet display the status of the charging of the battery can be checked.

Faster charging

The NDS 3L-100 3Lion battery are charged faster, up to 75A per hour for instance during a road-trip or sailing (please notice: this depends as well on the available alternator capcity and the diameter of the used cables).

Installation of the NDS 3L-100 3Lion Lithium battery

The 3Lion-system is easy to install regardless of the location of the service battery, because the electronic system of the vehicle or ship remains the same. Due to a direct connectiom from the BMS to the starter battery, the 3Lion battery system will be charged very fast when the engine of the vehicle or ship is running.

The 3Lion set can be used directly in for instance your motorhome. When a SMART Alternator EURO6 is used, the Lithium battery needs to be charged through the alternator via a Power Service GOLD battery charger. A Fiat Ducato Euro 6 is direct compatible without a NDS Power Service GOLD battery charger.
