GT-SAT GT-dMS4T Hybrid dCSS multiswitch - 64UB

The GT-SAT GT-dMS4T is a multiswitch with 4 inputs, for connecting or a standard Quattro LNB for the reception of 'only' 1 satellite position or for connecting 2 Wide Band LNB’s for the reception of 2 different satellite positions.

These features make the GT-SAT GT-dMS4T multiswitch a very effective and efficient solution for Multiple Satellite TV system installations (for instance for use at campings, hotels, B&B's and/or appartment building).

This multiswitch supports the dCSS/Unicable standard, wwhich means that via only one coax cable multiple satellite receivers (or TV's with built-in DVB-S2 satellite tuner) can be connected. This multiswitch has 4 outputs which all 4 can transfer up to 16 userbands; this means that 16 satellite receivers per output can be connected via one single coax cable. In total it's possible to transfer the dCSS signal up to 64 satellite receivers via this GT-dMS4T multiswitch.

The outputs are hybrid, i.e. both dCSS/Unicable signal as legacy is supported. Also non dCSS receivers can be connected to the multiswitch in this way. The switching between dCSS to Legacy or vice versa can be programmed via the programmer GT-dC2 or via th software dConfigurator®.

In static mode, the modus in which the LNB can be programmed with the programmer GT-dC2 or with the software dConfigurator® of GT-SAT, max 64 transponders can be transmitted via one coax cable.

With the GT-dMS4T multiswitch it's very easy to connect a lare number of users. When 64 users are not sufficient, the Multiple Satellite TV antenna system can be easily extended with an additional multiswitch; these are 'cascadeble'.

dCSS means "Digital Channel Stacking Switch"; it converts received satellite signals to "user bands".

The converter transponders are combined/ transferred via one single coax cable to the set-top box(es).

Communication between the dCSS-multiswitches and the connected satellite receivers is based on a specific protocol (EN50494 unicable I & EN50607 unicable II), based on DiSEqC-control.
