Maxview Roam Campervan - mobile 4G WiFi antenna
The available internet connection during your holidays or trip through Europe can be often disappointing. In most cases the 3G/4G-signal at your smartphone is weak or not even available, mainly when you are at a remote location. Even the available WiFi connection at the camping or in the harbour are often of low quality and are shared with many others. The result is a bad and slow internet connection, which hardly allows surfing the internet or to stream a TV program.
The Maxview Roam Campervan system uses a powerfull external, roof mounted antenna and an internal router. This solution is a reliable and safe WiFi hotspot for use in your, (bus)camper, mobile home, motorhome, van or truck. The Maxview solution is unique because the Roam Campervan can be used in two ways to get a better internet connection.
- 3G/4G signal - the main purpose of the Roam Campervan is to use a 3G/4G-signal to get a WiFi connection; this is the most powerfull and fast solution of the Maxview Roam. With the 3G/4G LTE antenna the signaal is so strong that even on locations where your smartphone doesn't has a connection, the Maxview Roam Campervan has.
- WiFi hotspot - next to that the Maxview Roam Campervan can also be used to connect to a WiFi-hotspot. This solution uses the powerfull internal antenna at the Maxview Roam Campervan Router. The data use at your SIM-card can be minilized in this way, when a reliable WiFi source is available.

Maxview Roam Campervan - Plug & Play router
A 3G/4G antenna offers in most cases the most fast and stabile internet connection, but there are situations where a WiFi hotspot connection can be more easy. When this is availble, you don't need to use your 3G/4G data and you can switch to a WiFi hotspot connection.
The Maxview Roam Campervan offers the best of both worlds; when available a WiFi-connection can be used to minimalize the data use.

SIM card
The Maxview Roam Campervan solution is designed in such a way that it can be used with (almost) any data provider; this allows to use the network that meets your needs the most! Also your current data provider can be used, based on the available SIM card. It's often wise -when a trip is planned- to compare items like European coverage next to price and use.
When you've planned to go to Scotland the coverage of EE is in most cases superior, while Vodafone and T-mobile are more popular on the main land.
Please check the availabilities of your network provider and data SIM; especially when you travel abroad you need to check things like: the number of days abroad, the use and limitations of roaming partners. We recommend to bring a spare SIM card with you, which remains its validity even when not used. Then you always have a back-up solution with you!
